International Days di Seneca College, Toronto
Toronto - Pada tanggal 25, 26 dan 27 Januari 2012 telah diselenggarakan acara "International Days'' bertempat di Student Centre - Seneca College, Toronto. Acara ini merupakan festival multicultural yang diselenggarakan oleh Seneca Student Federation, diikuti oleh kelompok atau klub mahasiswa asing yang sedang menempuh pendidikan di sekolah tersebut. Penyelenggaraan ini bertujuan untuk memperkenalkan budaya dari masing-masing negara asal para mahasiswa melalui sajian makanan dan penampilan seni.

Toronto - KJRI Toronto telah mengadakan upacara Peringatan Hari Ibu tahun 2011 dengan tema "Peran Perempuan dan Laki-Laki Dalam membangun Ketahanan Ekonomi Menuju Kesejahteraan Bangsa", yang dilaksanakan pada hari Sabtu 17 Desember 2011 bersamaan dengan peringatan Hari Ulang Tahun Dharma Wanita Persatuan (DWP) ke-12.

Canada To Expand Areospace Cooperation with Indonesia

RI To Host Ground Station Operators Meeting

Jakarta - Indonesia will host the 40th meeting of Landsat Ground Station Operators Working Group (LGSWOG) at Legian in Bali province on January 30-February 3, 2012. The National Space and Aviation Agency (Lapan) said in a press statement issued on Saturday the meeting would bring together delegates from the United States, Argentina, Australia, South Africa, Brazil, China, Ecuador, India, Japan, Italy, Canada and Saudi Arabia.
This Year''s Economy May Grow 7 Pct

Jakarta - Member of Commission XI of the House of Representatives Kemal Azis Stamboel believed in 2012 the economy would potentially grow by 7 pct, provided the government four important factors. The four factors, Kemal said in Jakarta Friday is effective and expansive infrastructure, secondly, optimizing foreign investment to the real sector and not merely concentrated in the financial sector, thirdly, the government is able to maintain economic and political stability following the fuel restriction on April 1, 2012, and the fourthly, the government needs to make the bureaucracy more effective so that state expenditures would cover more productive development projects.
